The news (Jan 8th) Drug to clear 'zombie cells' from body could be first anti-ageing treatment after ‘impressive’ human trial My take on this: Virus infected cells are often senescent, which means they are resistant to dying off after their usefulness is over. Viruses hi-jack these cells and they become carriers, resistant to the immune system. Some herbals like quercetin are shown to help the body clean up these cells, thus reducing the viral load in theory. This new drug called dasatnib could prove promising in a multi-faceted approach to clearing these virus infected zombie cells. However, I have read that nerve cells do not regenerate often, so that is probably a key factor. I just wanted to add this report to the knowledge base for everyone seeking relief.
