  1. Hi there everyone, im interested in taking Dr. Gundry’s Prebiotic powder (different than PRObiotics) which I’ve seen online. They don’t know the Arginine content. I’ve sleeady dealt w this w protein powder and supplements and this forum helped a lot...in fact that’s how I found it! Anyone know anything about this with prEbiotics, particularly with the formula/brand I mentioned? I think it can help my health...but not if it causes an outbreak. Thanks, all! Thanks for being here.

    Diet Q&A - Help Please

    Hey Friends! I am new to this & I am looking to get as much info as I can to be better educated, and to have as much control over my body & the OBs as I can. I have read so much info on here (You are all so helpful), some of it contradicts, and there is so much it can be overwhelming. I have read various things: supplements to take, diet plays a big role, just eat like normal, things to avoid, etc. I have already been trying to eat/live a healthier lifestyle. I work at a gym & I had just bought all sorts of supps before this diagnosis. I'm hoping I can share my current likes/dislikes & supps, and get some advice. I understand everything in moderation. Some things I thoroughly enjoy & giving them up completely would be sad. I'll list some things I am curious about and attach pictures of different supps and vitamins I have. Drinks I enjoy(aside from water): Coffee, Wine, Ocassional Margarita, Bang Energy Drinks, Sweet Tea. *Do I need to cut them out completely or can I enjoy these still? Lately ALL I drink is water and it's going to get old. Not much food I don't like! I try to meal prep with Turkey Burger (just patty), Grilled Chicken, Broccoli, or salad. Of course I like to be able to enjoy burgers, fries, Mexican food! A lot of people on here seem like I must avoid so many things. Not sure the extent of that! Guess it depends on my body and how it responds. The pictures attached are all product I currently have. No, I am not taking all of those Vitamins. I have been taking L-Lysine since diagnosis. What do y'all recommend taking of those that I have?

So, what sort of supplements whether herbs, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, et cetera have people found useful in managing their condition?   7. I was going to buy some vitamin C this week but before I do can anyone recommend any other vitamin or supplement that might be better for boosting immunity?
  8. I see a lot of people have tried or are using Oil of Oregano so I am curious as to how people are using it. Are you taking it internally or using strictly as a topical application when an OB occurs? Do you use it as a preventative to stop an OB or just a treatment when it shows up? What dosages do you use and is it the liquid in capsule form or liquid drops? What do you look for when you buy the brand you have chosen? What results have you found?
