I posed back a month or so ago about me having a rash on my inner thighs, that itched and all that... Well - it went away (good), no scabs, no nothing, just disappeared. I had some bumps on my penis and they are still there, although they look as if they are going away too. These aren't drying up and leaving scabs or anything like that. Is that normal for herpes? I never went to the doctor, because the rash went away - and I was inspected by a infected person who said she didn't think I had it. I was told that one of the symptoms of herpes was that it dried up and left scabs, which was the healing process. What are your thoughts on this... This makes about a month and a half or so, but these bumps on my penis don't bother me... It's just the thought of it that kinda makes me uneasy... No pain, no itching, no discomfort... It's just kinda there.

It doesn't sound like herpes to me, of course I am not expert though. Both my boyfriend and I are pretty positive we have it.

The symptoms I get are my skin starts to get so sensitive it hurts when touched, I start to itch like a mad man in the areas the bumps are going to come, then it aches in the same area, I get red bumps that look like a mosquito bite, then they start to like pimples, they get bigger and start to look more like blisters, eventually it goes away. I have no scabbing at all.

My boyfriend will just all of a sudden get red bumps that turn into blisters and scab and heal in a matter of days. He has no itching, or skin sensitivity, just the bumps.
