Sound like herpes?

Alright...here is my story. About two weeks ago I developed about 5 pimple-looking bumps on my right upper/inner thigh and 2 on the same location on my left thigh. Each "pimple" is about 1/2 to 3/4 apart and not necessarily clustered like some of the classic pictures I found on the internet. I must say that about 2 weeks prior I was at the doctors office for a head/chest cold with some flu-like systems and a nasty sore throat. My strept test came back negative and the symptom subsided.

The bump or pimple can best be described as a whitehead (with a small black dot in the middle), similar to my glory days in high school (only on my face)! I popped them and poured hydrogen peroxide on them for about three days. They are now simply red marks that get more skin-colored every day. This has taken me at least two weeks!

I have not experienced any leg pains or any real pain at all, except the discomfort when the pimples were filled to the max. After I popped them, the little discomfort I had went away. There is some itching, similar to a rash.

I have had unprotected sex with my girlfriend, but never noticed a single blemish or noticeable blister on her. I am going to go to the doctor, but would like any opinions. Thanks.

Doesn't sound like it, let yer doc look but realize they only catch this sometimes from the wounds. Just tell him exactly what the sores looked like, if your still worried get a type specific blood test 5 months from now.
