does the pain go away

I have just been in for testing have not got results, but the constant

nagging pain ever go away. Does valtrex or such meds help relieve pain.

I would try advil, I think valtrex is to keep the virus in check - not for the symptoms. Keep it going to - don't wait for the pain - doc told me no more than 2400 mg/day, which means if you take 2 200 mg pills - take every 2 hours, 3 - every 3 hours, 4 - every 4 hours. maintain a level amount of meds will help - if you fluctuate - the pain can catch up.
