I got the Herp from someone who was so awful to me, which makes getting it even worse. Does anyone else have a similar experience?
I would also love to hear stories of people finding love and relationships after their diagnosis.
I have no idea what you are trying to say. Herpes is herpes and anything else is anything else.
Herpes has not been shown to cause nerve damage or permanent neuropathic problems. Even Halford admits that there is no proof of this.
Again you need to read people's posts thoroughly and assess the whole situation. I and others do not say that herpes doesn't cause nerve related pains including tingles and sunburn type feelings.
But let's be perfectly clear on the following situation as it pertains to people such as yourself:
If a person:
- has never had a positive swab for HSV
- has never tested positive on a blood test for HSV
- does not have lesions accompanying neuropathic problems
then there is simply no reason at all to suspect that herpes is causing the issue. To do so is a waste of time and even pretty dangerous as the true cause may actually be serious.
Herpes and other virus's open the door to all kinds of opportunistic infections and problems. And if they suddenly occur at the same time or shortly after the primary herpes infection, I think it's safe to say it was CAUSED by herpes. The silly logic used by many people on here is about as dumb as it gets. When someone who has been in top health all their life suddenly comes down with several health problems at once, only an idiot would immediately deny that they were related. I really don't understand why there are people on here so adament about making any symptom other than lesions unrelated to herpes. What is the motive for that? That is no different than the primary care physicians treating the symptoms individually and completely ignoring the root of the problem (viral infection), and sending the patient on their merry way with a few useless antibiotics. It's dangerous and very harmful to the patient to address only the effect and not the cause...especially for ppl with neuropathic problems which can become permanent.
Thank you for the table I've been looking for foods that have high percentages of L-Lysine because they enhanced your Inmune System plus if you exercicise and meditate your stress levels go down which should result in less OB. All of this is theory every individual should ask a nutricionist to start and for the stress in my case meditating clears a lot my mind which is my main stress generator as well as learning from reading new things every time I can.
Why do you suspect that you may have infected him? Is it because he suddenly stopped contact?
I will throw another scenario at you. Perhaps he was simply interested in having sex with you, got what he wanted and is no longer interested in following up? I don't say that to sound cruel, but there are millions of guys out there doing that every day. He may well be busy, but it does sound like he might be palming you off.
Sex may have triggered the outbreak, so it's likely that you were not in prodrome prior to having sex with him and that having sex could have triggered the outbreak, which should mean you were not contagious while having sex.
I believe you have the best of intentions; but it obviously would of been a better option to refrain from intercourse so soon before discussing the H (although to be fair; it takes two to tango, and it seems like he was persistent and didn't consider or care for possible consequences anyway etc).
Just give it time and see what happens; he may contact you yet. If not; there's no point in "incriminating" (or exposing) yourself. For all you know; he may of caught H from someone else he may of slept with while you where away (or he may even of already had it).
.... anyway; don't sweat it.
Much love x
I probably didn't make myself clear. When I said "itching" I meant in the general all over body sense (but oddly enough not the groin) - mainly the face cheeks and torso.
Tbh, I think I may of developed an alergy to something because I have often developed hives and urticaria in the last year or so. It tends to happen mostly if I get too warm.
(Can't say if it's related).
