Girlfriend may be HSV positive

i haev been with my girlfriend for about 8 months now and we have a normal sex life and everything is great. about a week ago she started getting 4 reddish looking bumps around her pubic area and a burning sensation evertime she urinated. about 3 days later the 4 little bumps grew into 4 bigger bumps and look like sores now. she also has some more little bumps around the inner lips of her vagina and it still burns even when shes not urinating. she also complains of itching. she went to her gyno and got tested but we're waiting for the results, should be in about a week from now. the only thing is she was never sick, no fever, no aches, but as soon as she came back from her gynovisit and took some medication she was prescribed she got a headache and threw up as well. now this morning her lymph nodes around her pubic area is swollen. we are convinced that it is herpes beacsue of all the symptoms. but the only person she has slept with is me in the last year. as for me i have no symptoms the last time we slept together was 2 days before the little red bumps appeared. i will be getting tested this week but am nervous. what are my chances? even if i come out negative and she comes out positive i still want to have a relationship with her. how can this be without me getting it from her? can it be spread to my mouth during oral sex? thank you for all who who can give me some input to this stressful situation.
