My girlfriend was just diagnosted with HPV(still waiting for final results). While testing for this they noticed her having what looked like a crack on her anus. The test came back herpes positive and they are not 100% sure what type 1 or 2. When i say they i mean her mother is working in the doctors office as a interning nurse or some glorified title for someone who wants to be a nurse but has no education.I am concerned about their position. They seem to be leaning on me as the host. My girlfriend has had oral sores and something on her crocth area that was said to be ingrown hairs and pimples. I have never had oral or genital sores. I don't know exactly what to do. But when i speak with my girlfriend she speaks in a manner that is suggestive to her mother saying he's given you this and he's given you that. I am waiting for an appt. with my Dr. What should i do with my doctor and about her mother being in her doctor's office.

Get tested & do your homework - don't judge them - they are what they are - if they are blaming you and you have no knowledge of any of this - then her Mom needs some sensitivity training - not to mention a course on STD's - sounds like a real winner.

Don't get into it with them if you can avoid it - this is between you and your girlfriend - tak it over with your Doc and get as informed as you can. Intelligence here will be your best ammunition.
