Question for people in the military service

Recommended Posts

Truth

I'm joining the army, and a friend once mentioned that I would hit the showers at the same time everyone does. Can anyone advise me how to keep everyone from noticing my outbreaks when they appear. Mines are downstairs. I would think that I could wear a towel, but I don't know what I'm getting into...

Thanks in advance!

My roommate is in the military. As far as I know, the whole thing is pretty open, but when he comes home from his drill Aug 1 I will ask him what he thinks.

I would think that as long as you don't shave completely and your outbreaks aren't horrible, no one would notice. It's my guess you guys won't go around examining each other's manly parts. Besides, 25% of them probably have it too. You might make some friends! :)

Thanks catiesmom and Seatortuga

Seatortuga I'm looking forward from your friends answer, thanks very much.

Catiesmom you do have a point on the friendship thing. I don't like to be all hairy down there, but maybe I won't have much time to shave down there anyways. The thing is even thou my outbreaks could pass maybe as ingrown hairs they show a little bit over the hairline just below the waistband of the underwear so it's noticeable even when the lawn needs to be mow.

Like you said, they could be mistaken for ingrown hairs. So, you pass them off as such if anyone notices, and unless someone starts spouting HSV statistics at you (in which case you know they probably have it too, and can confide), most guys won't think twice. They might tease you for a second, but i wouldn't worry about being "found out". Personally, anyway.
