Asymptomatic and Viral Shedding

Recommended Posts

I am, so far (knock on forest of wood) asymptomatic. According to the info if you are asymptomatic you can still have viral shedding which increases the chances of spreading virus....You should refrain from having sex during OB's/shedding, but if you don't have OB's how do you know when you are shedding? Or am I misreading the info??? And when you are asymptomatic how do you know when it is "safest" or "riskiest" to have sex? Do I just have to assume it is the "riskiest" time until I do have an OB? I don't want to infect anyone so don't want to have sex unless it is a "safe" time (and with Condoms of course), but God, I am missing sex....I'm so confused.....

That is the messed up thing about this illness. You will never know when you are shedding the virus. It is best to be on suppressants when you are going to have sex.
