Need to share

I'm a new user and had to come up with a way to share this. Last night about 930 pm, I felt it coming on. That familiar tingling and burning. Put some lysine on it hoping it wouldn't come out. Woke up at 230 am and sure enough there it was, a small red cluster of blisters. I immediately went to the drug store and bought lysine supplements, echinacea, and Reemov(I think that's what it's called). I took 4000 mg of lysine, an echinacea, and put some of the reemov on my lip. Today, 10 hrs later, it hasn't gotten any worse. :-) Usually by now its all flared up and gross. Very unnoticeable. Until it's cleared up, I'll take 4000 mg of lysine a day (not all at once), echinacea, and continue to apply the reemov. I'll keep y'all posted.

Take it easy on the lysine

take a look at the link on the right "What is Lysine". It states some side effects with taking too much Lysine. They recommend only 1250mg a day. and Lysine is not meant for an instant cure. It is supposed to help prevent outbreaks before you even feel them.

I hope these other drugs you mention work for you.

Good luck!
