2nd OB in 3 weeks

Recommended Posts

I had an OB about 2 weeks ago and it was horrible. I got a cold sore on my lip that made me look and feel awful. Finally that cleared up after a freaking week. Then Friday just passed I felt the tingling and yep, my lip started swelling, I was having another OB. How can this be possible?

I have been dealing with this disease for 9 years now. I would usually get 1 OB a year, and I never had any cold sore's or anything. Then out the blue I get an OB, a bad looking cold sore on my lip, and now another OB. My right hand below my thumb I feel some bumps, tingling and itching and I am wondering is that associated with my OB? Has anyone had anything like their hands to break out, if so how did they treat it? My cousin said I had shingles and she was making a joke about it, but now I'm starting to wonder.

Hello soashamed

I have genital herpes and i get OBs on the fingers of my right hand, they usually appear close to the knuckle and can spread downward or upwards.

Is it possible that you could have touched the coldsore and infected your finger? Im not really up on coldsores.

Good luck anyways...

You probably just been under a lot of stress lately. Acyclovir works fine if you use as soon as first sore appears. Don't touch. Just let it be and it goes away within few days. There is nothing ugly about it. It's all in your mind. Sometimes people have them, and I don't even notice the sore. You just think that people will be noticing and that makes you feel nervous and stressed more, therefore more sores. Take care.
