Hey bully

When do you think you were exposed? it takes up to 3 months for "H" to show up in blood work.

If you are not comfortable with the negative results, then by all means get tested again. Hopefully you will not be a member of our club!!

hey misty

it was about 3 weeks ago, tingles within a few days, blisters about a week after that, i asked the person involed and they said they hab cold sores before, i explained what they were and there reply was that they did not know they were caused by hsv and could be passed on

so i am not convinced it is a good result and will get tested agin, just do not know what to do in the preceeding 2 months, that wait must dive people mad

bully

it just would not show up in your blood after 3 weeks. I started having symptoms immediatley after expsoure, I have HSV2. I wasn't even thinking "H" I just thought an infection.. I went to the doctor and he tested me for everything but "H this was just after a month, so it is probably a good thing he didn't check me for "H" he told me I did have an infection. Well, another month went by, I was doing my research and after putting in my symtoms "H" kept coming up, even tough I have never had blisters (thank you LORD) I went back and he tested me for "H" and sure enough it was positive. I had my blood test after 2.5 months, and I KNOW when I got it. So I went through 2.5 months of hell!!

Wait a while and get another blood test. Hopefully you want have many OB's, sound like you are taking good care of yourself, just continue to do so!!!

hang in the bully!:p

It’s really scary and depressing to find out you have this virus. When I found out, last Wednesday, I went through the emotions and the pain of a severe breakout (8 in total, all in separate spots). Today, almost a week later, I can finally move without wanting to scream. My best friends, during this time, were my detachable shower head, Naproxen, and Lidocaine 5% cream. (If you do not have a detachable shower head I recommend one or get a Peri Bottle. They help for keeping clean and for pain relief) Just as everyone here, we want this to be over with. The pain to go away. To feel “normal” again. I’ve researched and read everything I could get ahold of. Then I read about Monolaurin. It's a substance that's derived from lauric acid that is found in coconut oil and human breast milk. It supposedly helps immensely with our virus from hell!  I read that this woman started using it and she hasn’t had a break out in 2 years AND when she does feel one coming on she doubles up on her dose and BOOM, it’s gone! I ordered some off of Amazon and can’t wait for it to get here! What can it hurt, right? Seriously, what do we have to lose (besides a breakout, hopefully!) Here’s some info if you have never heard of it and want to know more. Good luck and keep your head up!   https://www.verywellhealth.com/the-benefits-of-monolaurin-89482

To be fair it would be hard to prove, you could have an oral infection for years before

No they will stay anonymous due to not wanting them to be outed no doubt. That's if anything goes further cause it will be hard to prove damages hsv wise surely.

I am doing this, but also taking other supplements at the same time. I drink a ton of water so it's easy to have lemon water on hand. I am on week 2 now.
