Newly Addition!

Like most people on this board, I'm at a point of my life where I feel lonely and afraid. I was diagnosed almost 1 year ago and still, I haven't really accepted it. Sometimes I ask God "Why is this a part of my life's plan?" I mean I've only been with one person and believe/know he’s the one who has done this to me. And although he claims he has never had a breakout or has had anyone complain to him about catching herpes, I know he's the main source.

I have strong feelings for this guy but he has made this experience a tough one. He's in denial and hates talking about the subject; he's even carrying on a relationship with someone and refuses to tell her. I try to be a positive source for the both of us but it's useless. I've done everything in my power to feel everything but worthless but nothing is helping.

......I doubt I'll ever see the sunshine at the end of the road.

It will get better!

I know it is hard to believe, but it will get better.

It is possible that this guy does not know he has it. Most people get it from someone who does not know.

You don't state where you live but if you are near a major city there is a good chance that there is a support group in your area. The support group here in Atlanta really helped me out when I was first diagnosed.

Have you seen the h dating sites? Mpwh.net and positivesingles.com are two of the more popular ones.

And come to the "Live Chat" room. There are many nice people in there that can offer support.

I have had this 'gift' many years and it means nothing to me. I do whatever I want including dating non h women. I have had plenty of non protected sex with herpes and have never infected anyone.

Good luck!

JB

Thank You but even your success doesn't change my outlook on life :???:

It's had to deal with this when the one person who you think should be there for you isn't.

You’re on the right track for sure. Did you get a swab of the lesions? Have you had an IgG blood retest for HSV?

I would like to hear from those who have genital hsv 1... I’m thinking that I have type 1 because the guy I believe gave it to me had cold sores.. or is this assumption wrong? What’s the chances of having type 2 from his cold sores?

I am very sorry that you are feeling the way you do at this time.  I went through the full range of feelings and emotions you describe for more than 10X as long as you have (that's right over 30 years) .  I have no idea if what I am going to tell you will be of benefit but I have no doubt what soever that HSV2 has been eliminated from my life.    This happened several months ago.  How?  Through SCALAR ENERGY.  It is still hard for me believe at times that I am now free of it, but it's true. If you want to know more you should go to the website and read it all.  creativestrength.us  I have absolutely no connection to the good people at this site other than I am now totally well from the treatment (not expensive) and am telling my story in the hopes that the same will happen to them.
