Genital Herpes and Working out

Since i have had genital herpes - i have noticed i am having a really hard time working out.

i get tired easily.

i used to be very very atheletic. since i have had GH i get tired easily. could it be because my body is working extra hard to fight the herpes virus AND work out at the same time??? i also am more sore after my workouts than usual since ive had GH it just takes alot out of me, tho.

however, ever since i have been working out i have had less outbreaks and if i do have an outbreak, they seem shorter than normal.

anybody have the same issues?

interested to hear these replies - ive had this a month now - its healed, but there are scars and im uncomfortable down there...i wanted to start working out this week but i cant imagine its going to be comfortable...

I've recently started working out 5 days a week (for the past month), and taking the supplements from Dynamiclear.

I feel exhausted throughout my day, and was hoping that working out would give me some much needed energy. I'm still unsure if it's the summer heat that is draining me, or the H. Specifically, I am not tired whilst I work out, rather tired throughout my entire day.... I am however, finding my neck is quite a bit stiffer...

Ahhh...who knows? Am I imagining any of this? I don't know. I read things on here (sore butt, sore upper legs, etc..) regarding others symptoms...I almost feel as though they are happening to me?

Good luck, and I can't wait to see what others have to say about this!

well, i have felt uncomfortable down below when having an outbreak. the sweat burns the blisters and clothing rubs and catches on the sores. i try my best to put some vagasil down there. but mostly, on the days when it is a fresh sore, i dont do a whole lot of moving around. i just skip my workouts on those days.

i need people's replies. does anyone else have the same issues as we do in the main topic post? comments appreciated!

Admittedly, I haven't been working out lately, but when I was hitting the gym regularly, I can't say I felt any different after contracting H than before. I usually went about 4 days a week and did a normal workout, which is what I'd been doing for years prior to H. I did abstain from going while in the midst of an OB, however. I didn't want to put that extra stress on my body, and I think that's a wise choice. Better to rest up for a day or two and let your body take care of the business at hand... healing.

      I was alluding to the rumours and since-deleted posts around Halford's research. Just because information is OTR, doesn't mean it doesn't come from a clinical trial. Choosing to ignore these extra bits of information is choosing to live in radio silence, which is unbearable for many.       Cool, I stay in Southern California. Keep me posted on your progress. PM me as well.  I'm also going to get Halfords vaccine when/if ever available. I figure as long as it's safe we have nothing to lose and also gives us relief until we can figure this shit out. I hear it may be as soon as next year. That may be a good meeting place if we manage to go to St. Kitts at the same time. I will do what I can to assist. Holla.

      I'm in California. I would but I also wish it was more refined and that he tested different strains of HSV-2 in the lab. AuRx decades ago showed a less virulent strain of HSV being mutated (they did ICP10 delta PK) generated more antibodies. I haven't seen such comparisons ever published by him thus I suspect he hasn't flushed everything out yet. He did hit on a good mutation taking away NLS of ICP0 as it keeps ICP0 out of the nucleus which would set off a harmful chain reaction. Otherwise I believe there are also still other ORF to modify IMHO, like ICP10. I wish him the best of luck and hope he moves forward in his goals.  As for Injecting directly the DRG. It is seductive as again I know it will saturate the neurons with the vector but it's a very delicate procedure and there could be a tiny vein in the way depending on injection site. I don't know I would trust them...  further with the intended vector it may require multiple shots if given even in cerebrospinal fluid as it only expresses 7-9 days and HSV has to replicate for CRISPR to really work - as far as we know right now.

      Some people cant see beyond whats going on for them. We all want a cure but until such time you have to deal with it.  It wont kill you

      Yes it is the better one to have. Less symptoms and less risk.  If you cant accept it then you are going to have ongoing issues mentally and physically. The 2 go hand in hand

      Nothing in what you say contradict the official shedding rate of HSV1 genital, nor what Doctor Terri Waren mentionned about HSV1 Genital to genital transmission. Reply with your smartass comments all you want, I'll take the word of a knowm herpes expert over yours any day.  I care so much about you, that I'm actually not going to reply to your next smartass reply. For anyone reading this thread, try looking at the bright side of a situation. Of course it will make things a bit more complicated and can be frustrating/painful at times, but things should get better with time. - Shedding rate of HSV1 genitally is much lower than HSV2 genitally. - According to Terri Waren, genital to genital transmission of HSV1 is much rarer than HSV2. Don't give up, you can overcome this.  Never let this virus define who you are.

      @wb1242 I also wanted to ask, are you taking both Whey and casein protein or just the casein? You don't need both and I recommend you drop the casein for a while and just take Optimum Nutrition's whey protein gold standard after your workout and see if that makes a difference with the outbreaks. I have read that casein can have a detrimental immune response in some people (but evidence is not strong). Again, do some more research on that, but you definitely don't need both and it will just burn a whole in your pocket as well. I have never used anything more than whey protein and I have managed to build a good amount of muscle naturally. Have a close look at your whole supplement regime. There isn't really any supplement that you are taking (except for the protein powder and zinc) that you can't sufficiently get from fresh food in your diet.
