Hey all this is my first post and i got a question i have herpes 1 the cold sores around the face ive had it since i was born but anyways im supposed to be with this girl tonight and i had a outbreak of a couple of sores on sat or sunday but i realized what they were and put ice on them so now one is not even noticeable and really not their but the other one is fairly noticeable but its still small and dosent itch or tingle or anything so my question is should i still be with this girl tonight even though theirs a chance it might be spread to her.

Oh and if theirs any fast ways to get rid of them that you use please post it.

Thanks

don't go down on her. tell her before you get intimate that you've had some cold sores on your face recently, so it's not a good idea to have oral sex. mutually masturbate, massage each other, have vaginal sex, but don't let your face touch her genitals. you should wait at least a week after the visibility of the sore disappeared completely to return to oral sex.

having caught herpes, i suspect, from oral sex, it's really important that you take it seriously for her sake.

Yes. You can transmit your oral herpes (cold sore) to any part of someone else's body via contact with mucous membrane or broken skin. If you are having an outbreak you definitely shouldn't be kissing anyone, anywhere.

you probably shouldn't be kissing either. if you kiss her, and then she goes down on you, YOU can get herpes this way. And, if you go down on her, she could get herpes that way.

Play it safe, don't screw it up with this girl, just don't do it.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
