Hi all

Just down in the dumps. My 2nd OB started with my period as a trigger & now I'm having my 2nd period, same OB!! WTF!! Is this ever gonna end???

I have the hugest lump between 'there & there' lol This OB is getting worse not better :-(

I'm getting more & more run down but there's not much I can do to stop that. I always get run down with a period. That's just me :-(

Just hope this is gonna end sometime soon...............and yeah I spose I've had some additional stress, my dad is sick...........but heck isn't this life?? It's never perfect?

Sorry just had to 'get it out'!!

hugs to all

Kez:(

Aww kitty that's not good to hear. With all the people you help on here I wanted to make sure that at your time of need, we were here for you too.

It certainly sounds like having a period is definitely a trigger for you. Have you been able to put anything on that lump? Additional stress and being run down can also be a major trigger for an outbreak, as you are no doubt aware of. I guess at this point there isn't a lot you can do about that but try not to forget to look after you too. I hope your dad gets better soon.

Hugs to 'you' hun

Awwww, hon. I don't know exactly why, but this reminds me of what Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "Well, it just goes to show you. It's always something."

You sure have had your share of "somethings" lately.

Thanks Angel. I got hubby to put some medi-honey on the oozing lump tonight [i should have got him to do the same thing last night] better late than never!! I've ordered some homeopathy remedies, one specifically for use where a period is a trigger. I'm going to give that a go [for next time obviously LOL]

Thanks RG. Yeah those 'somethings' had better bugger off LOL

Hopefully things may settle down a little now, my daughter's last day of school today so I can stay home a little bit now & recuperate [i hope].

My dad is back to the doctors' tomorrow, we shall see what happens this time?

I managed to walk 2.5kms today, so I'm hoping that's helps a little too. I was out in the sunshine too, gotta help yes? LOL

thanks girls xxx

Okay.... makes sense.... I hope it is helping.  Again, I would ask about a Rx for valacyclovir instead of acyclovir.... valacyclovir gets more acyclovir into your system than taking straight acyclovir.

Hi @Throwaway765 yes that all makes sense and you’ve pretty well reached the right conclusions except for a very significant fact!! You are right, receiving genital HSV-2 from oral sex is unheard of, just not feasible given how people have it and whether it actually sheds in infectious quantities or not. Safely rule this out. Now HSV-1; once you have this as you do orally, you have immunity against infection anywhere else on the body, it is also not feasible.  The symptoms you describe are also not related to herpes in the absence of lesions.

Thanks for your response! I received unprotected oral 10 weeks ago and immediately after had stinging in my glans and weird nerve pain. I am positive for HSV1 due to cold sores I got as a child, but as recent as 9 weeks after this exposure have tested negative for HSV2.    im nervous that I may have acquired hsv1 again on my genitals since HSV2 is rarely acquired from oral sex and doesn’t shed hardly at all, but haven’t seen any sores yet. Just weird symptoms and this started recently in my buttcrack when I was taking antibiotics.   Any advice or perspective would be greatly appreciated. @WilsoInAus

Hi @Throwaway765 and welcome. There is absolutely no concern over this being related to herpes. Something must be concerning you as to the possibility of herpes… what is it?
