Well, I just found out this week that 99.8% positive i have type 2. I'm still waiting on the blood test, but i'm pretty much accepting the fact that I will have to learn how to live with this thing for the rest of my life. I keep reading about how important diet and exercise is to control this. But everything just is so confusing still. If anyone has any advice at all for me about how to deal with this I would be very happy to get it.

Well what is key to fighting this virus is your immune system. So anything you can do to boost it would help. Diet and exercise are key to a good immune system, and so is getting plenty of sleep.

There is a link on the right, "Boosting Immune System". Click on that to learn more.

Come to the Chat Room, there you will meet many nice Herpsters who can offer you their support.

Good luck!

Welcome Ocean. :) I was just diagnosed as well and it's been hard but it's also not the end of the world. This site is great for support and information about HSV. I recommend doing some research; it has helped me out a lot. :) Best of luck!
