RELEEV prevents cold sores for me.

I just want to spread the word that RELEEV, which I buy at Walgreens for about $18, has worked for the past 6 months to prevent cold sores. I apply it both in the morning and evening to my lips and surrounding area, and have not once felt any tingling sensation since I began using it. It comes in a tiny bottle, and lasts me one month or more. So far it has actually prevented my cold sores from returning. Also, RELEEV doesn't taste bad, has no smell, does not discolor my lips, and dries really fast. After putting it on I apply chap stick to help it stay on my lips all day.

I hope to hear if it works as well for others. After trying many products I was referred to this one, and so far I've had success. Before using it I had three outbreaks in the preceeding four months, and since I began using it I've been under lots of stress and sun exposure, but have been free of cold sores.

Thought I should share my findings. Spread the word if it works for you.

Releeve doesn't prevent them for me but I use it for two reasons i)it's a good drying agent and ii)for cosmetic reasons. I prefer the brown stain of releeve to the yellow-puss-multiple-blackhead look of the cold sore at certain points.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
