Herpes ; psoriasis? enbrel?

okay so i am living with both sucky situation but i will live. i usually take ENBREL for my psoriasis ( an injection ) which lowers the immune system chances to fight off stuff. i have heard having herpes the best thing is for it is to have a good strong immune system?? okay so im just rambling now but is there anyone? on here living with psoriasis also i dont wanna stop taking enbrel but i dont wanna have an excessive amout of OBs either

Hi Alio, you must have your psoriasis quite severely if you have to have injections as treatment? As a child I had eczema, and then later developed psoriasis on my scalp. I used De Lorenzo scalp treatment but no doubt you don't get your rashes there. My mum used to get it on her neck and she used my very strong eczema cream Aristocort for it.

You could always take something like Immune Support which is a supplement and is good for any of us to take really. Also, increase your intake of plain yogurt, lysine and vitamin C.

      Thanks for your response! I received unprotected oral 10 weeks ago and immediately after had stinging in my glans and weird nerve pain. I am positive for HSV1 due to cold sores I got as a child, but as recent as 9 weeks after this exposure have tested negative for HSV2.    im nervous that I may have acquired hsv1 again on my genitals since HSV2 is rarely acquired from oral sex and doesn’t shed hardly at all, but haven’t seen any sores yet. Just weird symptoms and this started recently in my buttcrack when I was taking antibiotics.   Any advice or perspective would be greatly appreciated. @WilsoInAus

      Hi @Throwaway765 and welcome. There is absolutely no concern over this being related to herpes. Something must be concerning you as to the possibility of herpes… what is it?
