Genocea--new therapeutic vaccine to be looking out for?

Anyone have any more info? Sounds promising. Being funded by Johnson and Johnson is pretty big too. Has anyone else heard of this?

Again, more encouraging research and funding being done!! I've only recently been diagnosed with H, but it seems like the

general interest and research being done about HSV is at an all time high. Very, very heartening to know that experts are

hard at work! Also good to know that OUR donations to Dr. Bloom and Dr. Cullen have made a signficant impact. Keep up

the support for their work, and keep shining in 2011!

yup, this one is pre-clinical, so isnt even in phase 1 trials yet. BUT 35 millions bucks is a LOT of money, and MIT scientists are SMART, so they may get a good move on this. I really hope something happens in the next 5 years while I'm still in my 20's!!!!

If we want something to happen sooner, we HAVE to make noise. I've already signed the petitions, have you? This is the difference between 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, or 20. You have to make noise! I'm going to send letters to Oprah, my senators, etc. this weekend as well!

Visionsblue, thanks for your passion... I agree NOISE! The only thing I might add is that if people can help post the petitions on various blogs, sites, etc to drive more traffic to them. We have over 1250 emails in 6 weeks. It would be great if we could boast 10,000 emails by June. Now, that would be some NOISE!
