Recommended Posts

I recently had unprotected sex with my ex then she had an outbreak, then got a swab test which said she has hsv2 then i got tested and my results where

hsv1 5.0(out of range) and hsv2 0.13.

just curious about what it means and does it mean i am really negative to hsv2?

You may very well be negative to hsv2. You don't automatically get it by having sex with someone that has it. If you repeat the test in a couple months and it is still negative then chances are especially good that you didn't get it. Now if you do come back positive, and you had another partner as well, then there really is no way to know if it moved to you from your ex or from any other partner.
