so my fiance was diagnosed a week ago and i was terrified. u know no body wants to here that theres a great chance they now have herpes. i was so scared it drove me away from her. i told her i couldnt handle it and that i ight leave. but once i was able to clear my head i soon realized that to lose her is the scary thing. i can live with herpes as long as i have her but i cant live without her. i realized that our love is the most important thing in the world and everything else comes second. i feel really stupid about what i did but i now know its ot who u can live with but who u cant live without that really mattrers. i love her with all my heart and this is driving us closer together. i kow its not the end of our lives but instead a great beginning to the long life we will live together because im not going anywhere. i love her to much to walk away when she needs me most.

"We believe that ∆gD-2 may be more promising than other previous vaccine candidates because it elicits a different type of immune response against HSV-1 and HSV-2 that is more effective in preclinical models at clearing virus and preventing the establishment of latency. In nonclinical models, immunization with ∆gD-2 elicits antibodies that facilitate the killing of infected cells, rapidly clearing the virus and thereby inducing sterilizing immunity," added William Jacobs, PhD, co-Inventor and Professor of Microbiology & Immunology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine."...

They may not cure HSV but it looks like they are taking positive steps against HIV : https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/health-fitness/he alth-news/hiv-cure-soon-human-trials-underway-in-china/articleshow/70316379.cms   "Hopefully, the second-phase trial will be completed in the latter half of 2021, and the third-phase clinical trial may start at the end of that year, which will involve thousands of volunteers in a trial to test the effectiveness of the vaccine to protect people against HIV," the researcher added."...
