discharge. still. and i smell different.

I am now on about 2.5 months since my initial OB and the discharge has never waned. I smell different. Not bad, not fishy...just different. I was swabbed for yeast, and no yeast. My lower abs hurt and the discharge is thick, white, not smelly or cottage cheesy. How long does this last? Anyone else with the same? Is this all part of the first OB?

I didn't have any discharge. Have you been teated for other STDs?

hey bee- i have been tested for every possible std! I come up negative on everything (even H cause I did not yet seroconvert).

What about bacterial vaginosis?

I had a wet prep that tested for it as well as yeast and trich I think was the third thing. Had a full std panel, herpeselect, chlamid and gonn. ALL neg.

Have the doctors ruled out everything?

I have made three trips to the gyn and one trip to my gp. The gp did not examine me and basically told me to go back to the gyn. All 3 times I was at the gyn no dr was available and I saw the nurse. She just says there will be discharge and since none of the tests showed infection to just wait and see. She is the one who diagnosed me when I first came in. She was very sweet but did not do the swab because I was in so much pain. At the time I was thankful, but now I wish I had known then the value of the culture as my blood tests are negative. I have googled everything possible and come up with cervicitis which would need treatment. I called the gyn again today and the next appt I can get is in three weeks if I want to see an MD
