Outbreak free since April 05

Hello everyone,

I waited a while to post this because I wanted to make sure what I was posting was legitimate. I found out I had herpes sometime early 2004. I haven?t had that many partners and was always very careful about using protection. I don?t know who I got it from because it came at a time when I wasn?t with anyone for a while. I didn?t think much of it at first because I was in denial. Eventually, I found out I had it. I probably did the same thing most people did and find out as much as possible about it and try to see if there was some sort of cure. I tried all of the herbal remedies and other supplements to boost up my immune system. Nothing really worked. I was still getting an outbreak every month or so. At the time I had been getting treated by someone who practiced NAET and JMT. They are allergy elimination techniques. I thought it was total garbage until she helped me eliminate many other unrelated problems. I was in school at the time and I went to another practitioner in my area for unrelated issues. I was very embarrassed about having herpes but eventually I told her. She acted like it wasn?t a big deal. I asked her if she treated anyone for it before with it and she said she has. I could tell she didn?t want to guarantee anything but she did say she could treat it. Anyway, she treated me with NAET and JMT and told me I was cleared of it. It has been since April 05 and I haven?t had another outbreak. I forgot I even have it. My girlfriend knows and we?ve had unprotected sex and she?s never had any symptoms. I am not either guaranteeing anything though. Everyone is different and it may not go away after one treatment. Don?t give up. There is a way to eliminate it. I?m sure I am not the only person to have received this treatment. I do not have any vested interest in what I am saying but I do recommend you find a practitioner. NAET does have a practitioner website. I would find someone who does JMT also. Go in with an open mind and know that the body is capable of a lot more than you may think. Prescriptions will only hide the problem temporarily. I know I may sound crazy to some people but all I can do is share my experience. Honestly, I am a better person today for having it. I believe everything happens for a reason and I wish everyone the best.

Sounds interesting but what is JMT or NAET? Is it the same thing or two different remedies? Do you have to use both remedies at the same time or is only one the right therapy? What did she give you? How often? Are you still taking the remedy? Do you have HSV1 or HSV2 down there? Please elaborate and give us a full accounting. Thanks.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. On the other hand it is not easy to explain. NAET and JMT are different but the concept is similar. I did not take anything it is a way of telling your body to eliminate or suppress your symptoms. It is not hypnosis. Some practitioners have learned both forms of treatment. Most practitioners who have learned JMT also know NAET. I do not know of a directory for JMT practitioners. I only saw it on the NAET website. The site is www.naet.com. There you can find more information as well as practitioners. I do not believe it says anything about treating herpes on the site but you might be able to get a better understanding. I am not a practitioner so I do not want to provide you with the incorrect information. The best thing to do is research. If you are open minded and willing to work with them find a practitioner in your area and ask him/her questions and see if they can help you. Also when you are searching for a practitioner find one that has completed many of the "Advanced NAET Coursework." You can see the dates and how many they have attended on the right of thier contact information. I only want to present you with my experience. I know how emotional it is to live with it and I hope all of you the same success I have had.

Please do elaborate. I looked at the site and you are right there is nothing about herpes. The closest practioner is 2 hours away. Please tell us what happened what they told you and what you think works. Every little bit helps. We really don't mind if you write a very long entry.

-What was your situation, (type, location, how long have you been stricken, how often were the reccurrences, etc.)

-What did you use that didn't work

-What helped you? JMT or NAET?

-what were you prescribed, accupuncture, food, vitamins?

-How many people did your practioner treat?

-Were they all successful?

And anything else you can add that you think is important.

I had an outbreak usually every month on my genitals. It wasn't all over but in one small area about the size of a dime. I tried olive leaf extract, lysine, not eating anything with a lot of arginine, vitamins, and other immune boosters. By the way I supplement with arginine now for athletic purposes. I thought about the ozone treatment. When I had an outbreak I would put over the counter stuff for cold sores on it and it would help it out a bit.

From what I know the practitioner treated one other person and she didn't have an outbreak since. It isn't acupuncture although many acupuncturists are also practitioners. I wasn't prescribed anything. Both techniques were used so as far as I know they both helped. NAET has been around since the early 80's from what I understand and it has improved since. JMT is a sort of spin off technique that someone else developed. Again, it is a similar approach. Every practitioner is probably a bit different throughout the county but they still all learned from the same place. By the way in order to become a practitioner in NAET you must have a medical background. Not necessarily a doctor, although there are many doctors that are licensed in NAET. I did not go to one that was a doctor though. The only point I would like to add is I do not worry about an outbreak anymore. I haven't had one in more than a half of a year and I do not think I ever will again. I understand your skepticism. I'm sure you've tried everything you ever heard that works. It's too bad the nearest practitioner is 2 hours away. You will probably have to go more than once so that could be a hassle. Ultimately, the decision is yours to make.

Thanks for replying, but I am really not skeptical, in fact I am quite interested. The only thing is I am not sure about is what is going on and how you got "cured".

It is not accupuncture, and they didn't ask you to take anything. I am wondering what is it that they did that made you better.

I imagine you go for a consultation, the practitioner must have done something to you, I am just curious what that something was. Was it hypnosis, massage; what is the therapy that may have eliminated this virus from your body? Please help because I am sure there are many people even on this site that are very curious like me.

Perhaps you can recap what was done to you and over how many visits. Are you still continuing these visits. Start from your first visit and continue from there I am very very interested.

Naet site is under construction

Hi,

I'm on the Never An Outbreak program right now. I'm also very curious like Blackwatch what the heck it is you did, or had done to you to be "cured". Them's big words on this site.

Please post when you can and is there another link that we can view Advanced Practioner lists?

Like Blackwatch said, what, how long, how much?

thanks

Hello,

Sorry, I am not sure what the never an outbreak program is. I know cured is a very big work to use. I do not want to say the word "cured" because I do not want to promise anything. I do not believe I said that but if I did I take it back. I would hate for someone to go to a practitioner once and come back on the site and say it didn't work they had an outbreak. That could very much happen. Something else could be the cause. (What could be? I don't know I'm not you or a practitioner.) I will only say I haven't had an outbreak because of the treatment. Basically, they have the viruses (many different ones) in a vile in some form. Different viles for different viruses. You hold the vile in your hand. Then they go through points on your body and somehow it tells your body to fight the virus off. I don't know if it's completely eliminated or it keeps fighting it constantly. I am inclined to believe it is constantly. I may still have it in my body. She also boosted my immune system somehow with the viles. Again please don't quote me on anything because I'm not an expert by any means. I am not continuing my visits for this treatment. They are all practitioners on the www.naet.com site. On the right it says find a practitioner and you can narrow your results down for your area. Then on the right of each practitioner you will see how much advanced coursework they have done. It says basic, advanced, advanced I, advanced II. Then it says all of the dates they attended them if any. There is one site for all of them. You have to search through them. I hope this helps. Please tell me if I missed anything.

  • 1 month later...

two things...

herpes is not an allergy and shouldn't be treated like one

and

Herpes cannot be cured. It can be treated to the point that it suppresses for very long periods of time, but not cured.

I believe those people who believe they have been cured speak of the symptoms only. just because they don't have outbreaks, in their minds it's cured.

Please proceed with any treatment that claims cure with extreme caution.

Interesting information though. I'm always interested in the treatments that are going around. Not because I'll try them, but because a friend and I post feedback on them to try and combat that promise of cure.

Believe me, if there's ever a real cure, it's going to be on the news like white on rice.

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.

Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
