Can anyone please help me?

I have a friend (no, it really isn't me) Who has had a "sore" for about 8 months....she says it's a boil on her genitals. It goes away and comes back....it scabs over and will appear to be gone and when she gets upset, it flairs up again. Also, at these times, she is always tired and has headaches and muiscle aches. Does she have herpes? She refuses to belive this. Her husband, they have been married 16 months, slept with everyone he could find. Can anyone help me please? Thanks

Has she seen a doctor?Maybe she allready knows it is herpes and just doesn't want to tell you?Hmmm...not sure if it is herpes or not.I do know that herpes can make you very tired when you have an OB and you may get muscle aches. For me I am tired,my thigh hurts,it hurts to pee and I do get headaches more during an outbreak.

The only way to know for sure is to see a doc when she has the sores and get tested.I wiated until I had a few OB's.That was bad cuz the more you wait the worse it is.I have learned that if you get the 1st OB treated the other Ob's are much less painfull.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
