I knew the risk and I accept the consequences, but still scared

Hello, everyone. I was diagnosed less than a month ago with HSV 2. The person who gave it to me told me early on that he had HSV 2, but because I cared for him deeply, I chose to take that risk. I have no regrets about making the choice to be with him, despite the fact that we are no longer together, but I am still feeling overwhelmed with the physical and emotional stuff that I am experiencing right now. I also have an auto-immune disease, so I am scared that my herpes will be worse than average. So far, the first OB wasn't too bad, so I'm hopeful.

Anyway, glad to be on here with everyone. It's nice to know there are other people out there who are going through this. :)
