I HAD HERPES ON MY TOP LIP , LAST ONE WEEK AND THEN THE CRUST FALL OFF BUT THE SKIN IS RED !! , IS THIS A SCAR ? OR IS A NORMAL SKIN HEALING ? BECAUSE IS LOOKS LIKE THE REST OF THE SKIN BUT RED , A WEEK HAS PASSED AND THE REDNESS STILL STAYS THE SAME. :?:

I FEEL REALLY BAD , THE SKIN NEXT TO MY LIP WHERE THE COLD SORE WAS , IS RED , LOOKS LIKE NORMAL SKIN BUT RED , LAST TWO WEEKS , WHIT NO CHANGES , THIS GONNA DISSAPEAR OR IS A SCAR ??? IM SO SCARED AND DEPRESSED. :?:cry:

It's normal...

for the skin to remain just a bit raw looking for a short period of time.

Give it a few more days. If you still feel uncomfortable, maybe call a pharmacy and ask what they'd recommend over the counter and pop in to pick it up.

They might be able to recommend something to take care of your problem rather easily.

      Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

      Been a few weeks it went away but reappeared again tiny red marks not raised spots or anything no pain or itching ,I have had all negative tests on Sti's ..

      Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
