Not sure what to do

Recommended Posts

Hello all...I am glad that I found this site!! I look forward to feedback. Here is my story...my ex fiance had herpes. I thought that I got it and went to the doctors and the doctor told me it wasnt herpes that it was a skin irritation. Since that visit, I have had occassional issues and I made the determination that it had to be herpes. After all of the research I have done, I cannot come up with any other conclusion. My fiance and I recently split and I have been dating someone new. I made the terrible mistake of having unprotected sex. I brought up using a condom and next thing you know...well I dont need to explain. The next day I noticed I was having issues. The following day I purchased monistat thinking I had a yeast infection. I am still having symptoms of something ... what I believe to be herpes. Long story short, I am making an appointment tomorrow to see a different doctor to be diagnosed. Here is my issue...I have only had sex with this guy one time. I am not comfortable telling him I have something when I dont know for sure. When we are together again I want to use a condom but I am not sure how to ask for that when I already had unprotected sex. I also need to deter him from oral. What is worse is I dont know how I am going to be able to tell him I have herpes if it is confirmed by the doctor after I already had unprotected sex with him.

We are going on a trip in a few days. I was thinking of telling him it was that time of the month just to get through this next week until I find out the diagnosis.

If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do as far as using condoms and deterring him from oral as well as how I am going to tell him I have herpes (if confirmed) after I already had unprotected sex with him...I would appreciate it. Thank you!

You really just need to be honest before it is too late... either he will understand or he won't... but you won't know until you give him the information... it has been my experience that men are understanding and as long a you are education on Herpes and can tell them about it... they are open... and any man that leaves over that isn't worth it anyway...

good luck to you..

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
