Symptoms and Bloodwork

Hi... I have these certain symptoms that often occur right after shaving "down there" I know the difference from herpes and razor burn so thats not what Im talking about. First I get this ache down there, not a burn or pain, just kinda like a bruise or something. Then I get this reoccuring bump right by my anal opening. Its not really painful, nor is it filled with fluid or anything. I have never noticed any crusting over or anything like that. It really scares me because this is like the third time this has happened in the last year. The only thing that makes me feel a bit secure is that I DID have blood work done last year because I had a kidney infection. They never said anthing about an STD but it definaly would have shown up in bloodwork right? And also, isnt herpes in females normally on the vagina? I have never had any sign of anything at all in that area. Could someone please give me some insight on this? Thanks

I'm not sure if it would've shown up in that blood work because I do not think they test for everything like that, they run specific labs for suspected problems. It sounds like it could be an ingrown hair. Sometimes they "flare up," get irritated whatever you wanna call it. I hope that's all it is for you.

Thats right... The blood test would definatly not show any signs of the herpes virus unless they were testing for it... Not to mention that blood work has nothing to do with testing for the herpes virus... The herpes virus is tested by taking a sample from an open sore only... That is the only 100% way to test for the virus... Once the virus is dormint, it is very hard to find... Thats why it is so hard for the immune system to kill the virus once it goes into hiding in the nervous system... Sorry bro, good luck, Gods with you...

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
