seeking your help as soon as posible for hsvt1

I never dated and was virgin until 28 yrs old, when I contracted hsv1 (on lips for cold sores & genital). Iam negative for hsvt2 from blood test results. Reasons why I never dated were: fear of STDs, pregnancies and always wanted to date the guy will marry.

It's been three yrs without knowing I had hsvt1, just found out this year in june from a blood test. I experienced all the symptoms but didn't know what it was. Now the symptoms have worsened and spread allover my body ( my neck, legs and thighs have black spots due to briuses, bumps, leisions). The black spots inside the skin look like clotted blood.

I don't know what to do now. I feel my life has stoped. I regret why on earth did I loose my virginity, got hsvt1, and will never have children or live in hard relationships.

Iam thinking of going to a damatologist for more advise. I have not taken any medicine yet. Iam just stranded in my own world. As I write now, I have all the symptoms. Please I need your advise very soon.

Thank you.

Wish I knew

Sorry about what's happened. Life is not always what they told it would be, is it? All I can tell you is that there are men out there that will be happy to date you even with herpes. I am one of those men.

AND....you CAN have children. You can do what I have done, which is opt for a csection (well, I also had to have a csection for other reasons, herpes was the icing on the proverbial cake for me!) But there are many women, right here on this board, who have had children vaginally as well.

Danger mouse is right, there ARE men out there who will date you and eventually love you, despite having herpes.

Please get some medical help and treatment asap. This will help lessen the severity of your outbreaks, possibly stop them for longer periods of time. Also, I would check in with a dermatologist who can help out with these other skin problems you are having...they do not neccesarily sound like herpes...but best to get checked by someone who is a specialist!

It seems really hard right now, I know, but things will get better once you learn how to get this virus under control. There are also vitamins to take, topical ointments to try....don't let it get you down. You took a chance on love, and thought you were doing the right thing....but you know what....this could have happened with anyone...you could have waited, got married and you "husband" could have gave this to you. There are no guarantees. So many people HAVE hsv1....you are not alone.

Keep your chin up and get into a doctor asap so they can help you start healing. :)

Ouch and dangermouse, thanks for your healing messages. I have scheduled to see a damatologist, but still scared herpes might have spread allover my body. In addition to the symptoms I described in my previous message I have also the upper inner folder of my ear turining dark/black and don't why. Does any one know if herpes cause this? I have had all these symptoms for three years without knowing.

My other questions are: where can I buy these topical ointments and specifically which ones? Is there a website or store I can try? If its online, how can I keep my credit card information confidential since I want to keep privacy of my herpes from other people who can have access to my credit card. How about deliverance to my apt coz I don't want other people in the house to know:? Any ideas would help me.

Thanks,

To give some context I hve been suffering with this for the last 6/7 years this came about after I had varicella zoster on the inside of my body a week after I started getting clusters of spots on the top of my buttock they are not painful as such can be itchy at times but majority of the time I don’t feel it when I have an outbreak. I’ve been to various doctors who say it’s a fungal skin infection or a bacterial skin infection. I’ve asked if it’s herpes but they will say it’s not without even testing it.

Hello there @momma267 and welcome. There is no reason to believe that what you have there is other than a pressure sore, something that has emerged from rubbing with clothing or butt cheeks and exacerbated by bacteria or yeast.  Note that the first you’d learn of herpes is unlikely to be on your butt, instead where it enters your body, this is usually within the vaginal lips for females.

So to begin with, I am 26 and have been with the same partner for 8 years. I have only been with three people ever, one completely protected and the other we were both our firsts. I got this rash on my but while pregnant and my doctor said she was testing for it and I'm so confused. I've had two babies, breastfeed, and never had anything as much as a cold sore. Does this look like something anyone has experienced? I used fragrant soap down there and am hoping it's contact dermatitis or a heat rash from sweating and gaining so much weight.  Advice would be helpful. I'm stressing out a bit as I am pregnant. Hi, it is me again, apologies for the recent influx of posts. I've noticed a slightly raised area on the middle of my top lip with what i feel are some bumps. i do have a habit of biting my lips a fair bit and this area is frequented by my teeth. I haven't noticed any unusual/abnormal tingling or burning or pain sensations. the photos are a bit difficult to focus on them but do these seem like the start of cold sores? note: I will be visiting the drs for an std checkup in the coming week. https://imgur.com/gallery/YLVA5us
