Hello,

im only 14 years old and i found out just yesterday i have herpes,

i dont know what to do at all,

i dont know who to tell or who to trust,

im in pain and its always on my mind

i cried for hours and hours

i didnt know what to do yesterday

i wanted to kill myself but i was sitting down and then i was watching

Dr.Oz and there was a girl she had a disease where she couldnt move at all

and i told myself that this was nothing compared to that

i realized that im lucky to have this and hopefully soon have a cure then

to have a disease and not have a cure at all,

ive been trying to cope with this and i still have my moments and

im pretty sure everyone else does also, im so ashamed of myself and

im not even sexually active,

im scared and i dont know what to do

my parents dont even know

no one besides me knows

Dear Little One,

Please calm down. You have gotten some shocking news. But, one thing that confuses me is that you say you are not sexually active and yet you are certain you have herpes. Herpes is spread through sexual contact or through kissing someone who is carrying HSVI in the mouth. You may not have seen the blisters or they may have not had blisters at the time you kissed them.

In any event, I urge you to tell your parents so that proper medical attention can be obtained for you. They are going to see the blisters on your mouth if you do have it, so you might as well tell them now. Don't be scared about this, be smart and do the right thing from this point forward. Your girlfriends do not have to know and they don't need to know. Rely on your parents and this site for comfort.

Try and calm down in the meantime. It's a common disease with 1 in 5 women and 1 in 8 men who have it. You just jumped headfirst into adult matters way before your time. What's done is done. Now you have to fess up with your parents and start conducting your life much more cautiously.

I am sorry to hear you have this at such a young age. best thing i can tell you is to keep it to your self. dont trust any of your friends with this. kids can be cruel when given private info that should only be your business. when you become sexual active then tell that person. yes some ppl may reject you some ppl will not, but know if they do reject you then they were not worth your time. there are plenty of ppl that are not so one sided when dealing with something like this. the best of luck to you.

Who knows if I have had further testing since whatever post I made however long ago. Oh that's right, I know, and you don't, you ignorant fuck.

I’m also in the same boat. The skin below my pelvic glands is red and rash-like or little red bumps show up for a day or two. Constant itching down there and on my scrotum. The entrance to my anus is itchy all day. Every doctor that has looked at it has seen nothing to be concerned about. Tingling on my lip, tingling in my left arm and hand, tingling in left foot. Tingling in my left thigh, full pain in head of penis. Girl I was seeing also has itchiness in her vag and the lip tingles. I get little cuts on my penis for no reason. Never been swabbed or taken theWestern Blot. So far, after 5 months since suspected contact, I’m IGG negative. this all happened soon after having sex multiple time with someone.

This is coming very soon.  The chat we had was great but crashed the site each time.  We've researched lots of options and hopefully we are close. Thanks for your patience! Shenda

Hi guys, I have been making myself crazy googling. So i decided to ask people who know. My 28 year old daughter just told me that she has hvs1 for the last 4 years. She had a swab test days after first outbreak, it came back positive. She was also having a psoriasis outbreak. 6 months in a blood test came back negative, 1 year in another blood test negative. My daughter also suffers with psoriasis and ibs with is linked to the psoriasis.  There is also genital psoriasis that looks like the herpes virus. So does she have it or not...I looked up so much on google but things are conflicting to say the least. I am hoping to get some insight here. Thank you all!!!
