Hi I have been diagnosed with hsv-1 on my genitals. I have had it for over two years and have outbreaks usually at least 1-3 time a month. It is really upsetting.

I was wondering what natural supression thereapy you guys and gals have used to keeps them away.

I did a search on the internent and i saw two that were interesting. First was stabilized liquid oxygen taken orally. And the other was viraderm. Viraderm is a topical ointment that is applied to outbreaks and supposed to keep them from coming back in that area. So in other words you'll have to wait till you have an outbreak then apply on outbreaks.

I would appreciate all help. I'm just so darn sick of dealing with these outbreaks then waiting a week to heal, just to find out while I'm treating one outbreak another comes in  Thank you all!

I tried Viraderm without much success. Valtrex is great for suppression if you can afford it. Ask your doctor. I haven't had any problems with any side effects. If it keeps this stuff at bay it is worth the price. It's worked for 8 months so far.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
