Anybody cooking for Turkey Day?

Recommended Posts

luckyCat

Im cooking today along with mom so we can have a great feast when my bro and his gf come over. So far Ive made:

• Hearty curry/coconut pumpkin soup - for the app

• Sour cream n chive (and garlic) mashed taters

• Mac n Cheese from scratch with silky tofu blended into the cheese sauce. (bro and gf are veggies so meatless dishes also have to be at the table.)

Anybody else cooking up some tasty grub?

PS. Im rly grateful that this forum exists, and that Ive had the chance to take comfort from and give comfort to many of you.

I love cooking a turkey. I brine it overnight in an herb/sugar mixture then mix up a chive butter mixture and put it between the skin and the meat. Then I baste it in white wine. It comes out very moist and tasty.

Happy Herpsgiving Cat!
