Hi all.

I'm new here, but not new to herpes. I have a question I hope someone will know the answer to.

I seem to be developing new sx's with this virus. Over the past few months, just prior to an outbreak, I feel as though my nervous system is freaking. It's hard to explain, but it feels like my nervouse system is short circuiting or that my insides are "vibrating". There is no visible evidence, only a strange feeling I get. I also feel extremely aggrivated or aggitated for the day or two before an outbreak. Is this only me, or does anyone have similar experiences? I'm curious. My Doctor thinks I'm a nut job, and it couldn't be possible. But he is no expert by any means. He once told me the lesions I had weren't herpes, did a swab, and guess what???

Thoughts appreciated.

that vibrating feeling you say you have, I have been having for months now on the right side of my vagina, and yesterday morning I felt a sore that I have never had before and sure enough it looks like a blister!! My husband broke out last year with genital blisters and the doc said herpes and I freaked!!! we had blood tests done and he has hsv2 and I have hsv1 and now have my first out break....sorry to go on & on.... I am still freaking about the hole thing!!! Doc says we have had this for years and it just reoccured... have you ever been in long remit?

Good luck to you!!

not sure about the vibrating but I am soooo aggravated right now. I have had herpes for 6 years and this outbreak has me so intolerant, pissed off, upset....I have been throwing fits & today I am physically sick. Body aches, head ache, typical cold symptoms. Never did all this before with an outbreak. As far as your nerves that could be related to anything, not herpes. It would be hard to say.

Herpes and anti-viral medications intended for Herpes can cause flu like symptons. Their has been some research that shows Herpes is somewhat related to influenza.

I can usually feel when I have an outbreak getting to come, its sort of a strange feeling in my body and mind, next thing I know I have an outbreak a day or 2 later. It is interesting because I have qwuestioned myself why I get this feeling and its nice to know i'm not alone, I wonder if its best to go ahead and take an anti-viral as soon as you feel that strange feeling or wait till you have the outbreak. I would think taking the medication as soon as you feel it maybe just one pill may keep the outbreak from forming since you will have attacked it before it has visibly started. good question.

Sometimes I would get a dizzy feeling like I was off balance a bit....then I would kind of daze off & just stare, when I did that, I found myself swaying like I was going to pass out and fall, never did though....must have something to do with being sleepy & irritable too. Another thing, once my bumps went away my insides down there even felt swollen, I felt like I had too pee & fart all the next day after the bumps went away.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Well thank you I appreciate it

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
