can you have an outbreak w/out sores?

I have recently been told that i tested positive for antibodies. up to that point i have never had any type of symptoms whatsoever. well afew days after finding out, i now have a pain in my penis. it does not burn to urinate at all, just a pain that almost feels like a urinary tract infection. but no sores at all, no redness nothing. can it be an outbreak without sores, or could it just be nerves cause like i said i have never had any symptoms untill shortly after i found out i was positive. and what is the time span from when you are exposed untill you test positive for antibodies?

Id wait about a month and they should definitely be there if you have it. Probably in a week or two even but a month to be sure. If you have never had symptoms then you can still get a blood test..... a lot of people will NEVER get any symptoms and have it in their body and still be contagious at times.
