Its taken me about four years to get my head round this herpes thing and its time now i moved on from it. Ive wasted enough time and energy beating myself up over it. Ive made a big step today and I hope to continue to do so. The thing for me is telling a partner that I have HSV2 but I think I am getting there with it. Sorry its short but its a start.

just a quick note for you, I found out about the same thing 20 years ago, thanks to my now x wife running around, I know it can feel like you are all alone, and things will not be the same, but it will, I have been taking zorvix for all this time ,very, very few outbreaks anymore if any, hang in there, had to explain this to many dates in my life, and always told the other person, and let them understand, , keep your head up, 1 in 5 people you see on the street has this

I take suppressive medicine and it is a great help. My ob's are tiny so im quite lucky. I can deal with the stigma and silly people making stupid jokes about conditions they know nothing about, its more about the rejection for me of someone that I want to be intimate with. I know I need to move on, four years have already past. thanku for your kind words
