yeah it was the second time a man had gone down on me. ever. i was 19. a VIRGIN.

7 days later i was in the worst pain of my life. apparently it hit me so hard because i had NO virus in me before. part of the 8 percent that never got oral herpes.

he didnt have any cold sores. he said he never noticed having them before.

i haven't been more than two weeks without an outbreak since, despite being on valtrex.

i became tainted, dirty, stigmatized by the public as getting what i deserved. he's happy as a clam now, having sex with some girl that's CLEAN.

i will never be able to have sex without worry. i'll never be able to have fun with it. and no man will ever give me oral sex again.

sad sad story, huh?

my experience was the same.. I was a 17 year old virgin, this was the first guy that had gone down on me, but the second time. He didnt have any cold sores present, al thought had had them before and didnt tell me. He swore he didnt know that it could be passed this way. 6 days after we hooked up i was in extreme pain and didnt leave bed for 2 weeks. I cried when i peed, and for an hour afterwards because i was in extreme pain. I cried myself to sleep, could never get comfortable, couldnt eat or drink because then i would have to pee and i couldnt stand the pain. i was an emtional wreck. i had so many sluttly friends who were clean, and here im stuck with the diease. and on top of all that i have had rumors spread about me throughout my town, the neighbouring town, and 2 citiies were people from my town are going to school. its hard enough to deal with a situation like this without the rumors.. oh and ya i havent talked to the guy since i told him he gave me herpes...

It is a very sad story... Horribly terrible actually... Your system was really hit hard when you got infected... Listen though life goes on, what you need to do is start taking care of yourself... You desperatly need to boost your immune system so that you dont outbreak so often... I mean twice a month is unreal... Instead of going around and sleep with ppl you don't care about, next time you sleep with someone it will actually mean something to you... Because the guy cares about you, not your condition... God does things for a purpose...

I am also a virgin now infected with an STD. I got diagnosed about a week ago and let me tell you if would have only known. The guy who performed oral sex on me had no visible cold sores but my doctor informed me that they don't have to be present to spread. What i thought was a severe yeast infection turned out to be genital herpes. I am still dealing with the news and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I have hope that I will still have a good life and that I will eventually get married and have a family like I have always wanted. I just hope i can control the outbreaks because if I have to deal with the pain I experienced often I won't make it.
