Hello, I am new here. I am not sure if I have genital herpes. My girlfriend and I live in different towns and I recently just spend 2 weeks visiting her. Douring my last week with her, I noticed a little red blister on my pubic hair are, I really didn't focus on that to much. I had sex with her after noticing that and after I came back home I started having alot of itching and more blisters came out around my genital area. I been afraid to tell her over the phone what happend. I am afraid she was infected and she didn't knew about it. I already order a bottle of Choraphor that I will be getting tomorrow. I been taking Lysine and apliying aloe in the area and is starting to heal, I can tell I will be fine in the next couple of days.

I am just very confused, because this is the first time something like that happens to me. Another thing that has me alittle bit worried is if could probably got an infection after shaving my pubic area with an old rassor??

sounds like it, you should get yourself to a doc for a test asap.

tell your girl, she needs to get tested to now.

sounds like you had it, not her. but since you had sex with the possible outbreak, shes at risk now.

      So to begin with, I am 26 and have been with the same partner for 8 years. I have only been with three people ever, one completely protected and the other we were both our firsts. I got this rash on my but while pregnant and my doctor said she was testing for it and I'm so confused. I've had two babies, breastfeed, and never had anything as much as a cold sore. Does this look like something anyone has experienced? I used fragrant soap down there and am hoping it's contact dermatitis or a heat rash from sweating and gaining so much weight.  Advice would be helpful. I'm stressing out a bit as I am pregnant.       Hi, it is me again, apologies for the recent influx of posts. I've noticed a slightly raised area on the middle of my top lip with what i feel are some bumps. i do have a habit of biting my lips a fair bit and this area is frequented by my teeth. I haven't noticed any unusual/abnormal tingling or burning or pain sensations. the photos are a bit difficult to focus on them but do these seem like the start of cold sores? note: I will be visiting the drs for an std checkup in the coming week. https://imgur.com/gallery/YLVA5us

      To give everyone confidence that it wasn’t herpes related and conclude as the doctor did that it was a dermatitis issue to refer back to the dermatologist to continue with investigations.

      Both a dermatologist and infectious disease doctor prescribed him HSV medicine. Why would they do that if this isnt "what herpes really does"?
