Scared. Please help.

I was diagnosed with HSV 2 about 1 month ago. I am now on my third outbreak in this one month. I'm not really sure if this is normal. The second and third have been nothing compaired to the first. However I am just so scared. I am so tired, weak, and dizzy feeling. Is this normal? I am pretty sure the person who gave this to me knew he had it. That is also very hard to deal with. And on top of all of this I am like the worry wart ever. The day I went to get tested for herpes I also had them to test me for HIV, because I'm thinking if I can contract this I can most certianly contract anything else. The results were negative but after doing research I learned it's best to get tested 3 months after possible exposure. Well I had only been with him for a month when I got the test. So now I am scared maybe my results are wrong. I am just really having a hard time with this. I broke up with the herpes "donor". After I discovered all of this his true colors came out. He started being controling and trying to run my life. I think he had all of this planned from the get go. Which just makes me sick to my stomache to think I was stupid enough to fall in to it. I just want to talk to someone who kinda knows what I am going through.

Thats very true

the more stressed out you are, the more outbreaks u will have...

i know its hard, but worrying about the situation is not going to help.... worry wont cure it, or help u figure anything out.

ive had it since 2005, and took me the first year to figure out my outbreaks are stress related.

no stress, no outbreaks..

these days i take everything in my stride, and dont let myself worry about the things ican no longer control..

trust me it helps.

oh and a little bit o lysine.

I understand your feelings of being upset. When you think someone knowingly infected you I think it's allowed for you to feel violated, confused, scared, and sick at thinking about the unknown.

However, In your own best interest it may be time to take back the reins. You would feel better using your energy to learn all you can to stay healthy and ob-free. Read up on suppliments, diet, rest, and the importance of keeping yourself and your life as stress free as possible.

What the donor did is done and permanent. He doesn't deserve the free rent in your head. Anyway, Living well is the Best Revenge!

Feel Better...Live Well!

To give some context I hve been suffering with this for the last 6/7 years this came about after I had varicella zoster on the inside of my body a week after I started getting clusters of spots on the top of my buttock they are not painful as such can be itchy at times but majority of the time I don’t feel it when I have an outbreak. I’ve been to various doctors who say it’s a fungal skin infection or a bacterial skin infection. I’ve asked if it’s herpes but they will say it’s not without even testing it.

Hello there @momma267 and welcome. There is no reason to believe that what you have there is other than a pressure sore, something that has emerged from rubbing with clothing or butt cheeks and exacerbated by bacteria or yeast.  Note that the first you’d learn of herpes is unlikely to be on your butt, instead where it enters your body, this is usually within the vaginal lips for females.

So to begin with, I am 26 and have been with the same partner for 8 years. I have only been with three people ever, one completely protected and the other we were both our firsts. I got this rash on my but while pregnant and my doctor said she was testing for it and I'm so confused. I've had two babies, breastfeed, and never had anything as much as a cold sore. Does this look like something anyone has experienced? I used fragrant soap down there and am hoping it's contact dermatitis or a heat rash from sweating and gaining so much weight.  Advice would be helpful. I'm stressing out a bit as I am pregnant. Hi, it is me again, apologies for the recent influx of posts. I've noticed a slightly raised area on the middle of my top lip with what i feel are some bumps. i do have a habit of biting my lips a fair bit and this area is frequented by my teeth. I haven't noticed any unusual/abnormal tingling or burning or pain sensations. the photos are a bit difficult to focus on them but do these seem like the start of cold sores? note: I will be visiting the drs for an std checkup in the coming week. https://imgur.com/gallery/YLVA5us
