well I like to check out a site before I post my "hello" post. I hav ehad type 1 as long as I can remember, I may have been exposed to type 2 and I'm witing for my results. But I think I'm the the clear. I think the most important part of forums like these are the support and it seems like there are an awful lot of knowledgeable people on here. I have been lurking around and found alot of" I'm going to die" posts, and so i jumped in to try and make them feel better. I was dateing agirl for a while whose exboyfriend is young and was desprate to get her back. he tried many threats and stupid games to get her to leave me and go back to him. on was that he got herpes from her and she should go back to him because of it. but he never got tested and won't reveil his symptoms. she claims to have never had symptoms. I had what looks like an ingrown hair so I went the next day to get it checked and to get checked for other deseases. I'll find out monday my results. I think I'm in the clear, but I wanted to share my experence anyways. Also considering that I have been living with type 1 all my life I think I have somethig to offer. I admit that I am opionated and head strong, so If I am adimate about my thoughts I mean nothing by it. but forums always seem to have people who are just looking for a place to show off, or scare people and I think that this should be a place of support. so I would like to help out in that effort.
