What's common is for an outbreak to occur 2-20 days after exposure. What's more common is for the outbreak to be so minor it goes unnoticed or misdiagnosed as something else like jock itch or a yeast infection. If it's a recurring outbreak, you'll usually talking a 1-3 days . Keep in mind, sometimes a tingle is nothing at all, and even if the tingle is related to a herpes outbreak, it doesn't mean a blister will form. This virus has a mind of its own and acts differently for everyone. Regards Mr_Smith.
