Hi duke,

Doctors think that you are crazy...? Why??

Anyway, sounds like you've been having serious condition.......

I just did a google search for Clarithromycin (cuz you said you are taking it in another post, "duke111" that's you, right?), and it said this is it's side effect :

- Infrequent side effects are diarrhea, nausea, and abnormal taste. Clarithromycin may cause severe abdominal pain at high doses. There has recently been two reports of people experiencing mania as a side effect of clarithromycin. The mania went away when the drug was stopped.-

Also amoxicilin's side effect:

Less common -- fast or irregular breathing; fever; joint pain; lightheadedness or fainting (sudden); puffiness or swelling around the face; red, scaly skin; shortness of breath; skin rash, hives, or itching

Rare -- Abdominal or stomach cramps or pain (severe); abdominal tenderness; convulsions (seizures); decrease in amount of urine; diarrhea (watery and severe) which may also be bloody; nausea or vomiting; sore throat and fever; unusual bleeding or bruising; yellow eyes or skin

Did your doctor prescribe all of them? Though every medicine has some kind of side effects, maybe you are taking too many medicine at the same time and that may cause the trouble you have..

Because only acyclovir itself is too strong for some people. When I took it, I had severe diarehea and made me very weak. My doctor told me to stop taking it.

From your description, I don't think your symptoms are coming from herpes itself.

Talk to your doctor, and make sure that you are taking right amount and right kind of medicine.

Please take care..

Faith

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
