leg aches

I started this first outbreak (first that i'm aware of anyway) almost two weeks ago with the first blisters popping up nine days ago. I wasn't feeling funny anywhere but my downstairs until yesterday when I woke up with agonizing leg pain. I still have it today. Is it normal to get the muscle aches after your blisters are already crusting over??? Or am I about to get another OB already?!

Thanks bluefrog, I was worried that another one was coming on already or something. I was thinking that you were supposed to get the prodrome stuff BEFORE the blisters. But i guess anything goes.....this really sucks! On one hand, if this is what's been wrong with me all these years then GREAT now I can do something about it. But what if I still keep having the same problems PLUS this?! Can't deal...

it took me a good three months after my first ob for the 24/7 aches and pains to subside. now, almost five months after, i get occasional aches and pains, mostly right before and the first two days of my period:cry:. I am hoping, as the year goes on, this will subside more also.

ya ive had this thing since about may er so and am still dealng with the first outbreak. suuuuuucks. but the leg pains were something that were really bad for me, couldnt sleep at nite and such. kinda noticed tho that it was my pants that i was wearing "nut huggers" as my friends poke fun of me for rockin. and noticed too that after a few drinks the nite before the leg pain would happen. smae thing too if i wasnt getting enough rest, kinda like my body telling me to go to sleep at nite.

so in essence, keep an eye out on what ya wear and other things that can cause the pain. mines subsided alot since i started wearing shorts more often and drinking less. being 22 and not being able to really drink makes it kinda hard in society to even go out at nite. the fact that i am limited to putt-putt golf and movies on a friday nite makes me feel like im 16 again.

ha ah well tho, enough with the rant, at least bar bills have decreased to a very low level

best wishes to ya ducky

pat

So to begin with, I am 26 and have been with the same partner for 8 years. I have only been with three people ever, one completely protected and the other we were both our firsts. I got this rash on my but while pregnant and my doctor said she was testing for it and I'm so confused. I've had two babies, breastfeed, and never had anything as much as a cold sore. Does this look like something anyone has experienced? I used fragrant soap down there and am hoping it's contact dermatitis or a heat rash from sweating and gaining so much weight.  Advice would be helpful. I'm stressing out a bit as I am pregnant. Hi, it is me again, apologies for the recent influx of posts. I've noticed a slightly raised area on the middle of my top lip with what i feel are some bumps. i do have a habit of biting my lips a fair bit and this area is frequented by my teeth. I haven't noticed any unusual/abnormal tingling or burning or pain sensations. the photos are a bit difficult to focus on them but do these seem like the start of cold sores? note: I will be visiting the drs for an std checkup in the coming week. https://imgur.com/gallery/YLVA5us

To give everyone confidence that it wasn’t herpes related and conclude as the doctor did that it was a dermatitis issue to refer back to the dermatologist to continue with investigations.

Both a dermatologist and infectious disease doctor prescribed him HSV medicine. Why would they do that if this isnt "what herpes really does"?
