can I still shower with my man?

I guess this is a silly question but seeing as though I am a snuggly person and am awaiting the return home from my loved one is it still possible to take showers with him? I know that sounds stupid but I really want to know......

When you are having an outbreak you need to be REALLY careful.

When you are having an outbreak I would not take a shower with someone. (even though just taking a shower probably wouldn't be risky, but why take a chance... just save the showers/baths together for when you aren't having an outbreak)

Be most concerned when you have an outbreak.

Even if you are having an outbreak, Cuddling would be fine, just keep your panties on.

If you are having an outbreak wash your hands after you touch yourself close to the affected area etc.

You don't have to change your whole life because you have HSV... Just little tiny behavior changes here and there.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
