Exercise, Outbreaks and Energy

Does anyone else feel exhausted during an outbreak? My first OB has been accompanied by a feeling of exhaustion every few days and a sore throat that comes and goes every few weeks. (My first OB had been going on for 4-6 weeks.) I'm usually fairly active, but I'm too tired to workout or really do much. Did this happen to you?

Yes, loss of energy and weaken immune system, its quite normal. I take vitamin B12 complex, now it is liquid form, and it relieves stress, gives much needed energy and supports nerves systems since our herpes lives in our nerve pathways, this Vitamin works wonders for those who have tried and told me it did the trick for them. I use 1500mcg twice a day (two dropperfuls of liquid B12) if your using pills 500mg a day twice a day with food of course (as with most supplements & vitamins they need food to enter the systems properly) and not after 3pm since it can cause sleeplessness.

Your fatigue is normal. Take care Aces xo

I had just purchased an iron/b12 supplement and some multivitamins the day you posted this suggestion. It seems to be working, my energy bounced right back!

Maybe it's a feeling of exhaustion and a sore throat that is accompanied by your first outbreak. Keep your body well-fed and well-rested, it will reward you.
