Hi there,

I had sex about 2.5 months ago unprotected..

After 24h i started feeling some sensation (could be described as tingling) in my penis..

My skin became redish for a couple of days (10 days) and I had some red decolaroation on the penis head with something that looked like small insect bites

Now after 2.5 months I still have some small bumps on my penis (about 75-100 all over the penis head) and they look like they are inside the skin.

At last my anus area feels buring since around the same period..(I am hetoro)

Herpes?

Hi,

As for those bumps, I don't think that they are herpes outbreak. Herpes outbreak doesn't "stay" for 2.5 months...

And about the burning in anus area.... Hmm.. it also could be something else..

Herpes outbreaks sometimes look like pimples, you can get burning or tingling sensation, but... it doesn't stay for such a long time. It heals, and recurs.

Either way, I think you should go see a doctor and have him/her look at it.

Refer to... EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS article 2 final by Richard. It's under Everything Herpes, in this forum.

Please take care..

Yea like Faith says.... I don't think its herpes either... herpes is an aggressive virus which WILL NOT stay under the skin... When you outbreak they will surface... And another thing is it doesn't last 2.5 months... Could be an STD, but probably nothing serious... Look into Clymidia... Could be that... I don't know... But it's not herpes, 90% sure...

Hi guys,

well thx you so much for the response..

i never got any blisters or sores. However I did a lot of reserch and it does look a lot like the herpes whitout the sores (in the first month) (red skin on the prepuce and redish skin on the penis head ) and this month it looks like nothing that I came across..

Those small bumps on my penis head (75-100) are a mistery .

Anyway I am out of the country and until then I went to the pharmacy and got on a supresive therapy with acyclovir... this is my 4 day and the "bumps" are still there... I think I will continue for another 3-4 days and stop it until I see a doctor..

So again what do you think (yes I did

Wait...

So.. you got acyclovir from pharmacy? Without doctor's prescription...? ( Well you can buy it online anyway..)

But, you're sure it's herpes??

Hmmm.. I don't know about the dosage of acyclovir... but once you take it, then even if you go see a doctor and get the test of lesion culture, test result will be probably negative.. because you already took acyclovir.....

Then if you still suspect if it's herpes, you should probably wait for 12 weeks and get a blood test to make sure if it's really negative..

Hmm..sorry.. other than that, I don't know..........

Keep in mind herpes infection could be mistaken for so many differant things... Herpes looks like alot of differant types of skin infections, even doctors will misdiagnose herpes infections... I wouldn't be taking anything till you get a confirmation...

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
