Just tired about herpes and a lot of people saying how fine you'll be and that's not a big of a deal well to me it is I just can't cope with it 3 months in this night mare and is for life Im 35 with no family is not easy to think that I'll be alone for the rest of my life I told 1 person I was dating cause I want to be honest and give her the chance I didn't have and she just ran away I mean who in the right mind wouldn't right? Well that's how I feel right now very lonley very upset at my self feeling worthless dirty and I just wanted to ventilate my toughts its been hard really hard I'm lost.

I hate this virus because of the havoc it puts on people's self value due to others ill informed opinions. I don't think you will be alone forever. The site is full of people who are in great relationships with people with and without H.

Probably the biggest change that will need to happen when you learn how to cope with this virus is to realize your self-worth beyond herpes.. and to be able to talk to a potential partner about it in a way that makes them see that self-worth as well. Most people will be exposed to herpes at some point in their lives, in one or more forms. Many people already have herpes and don't realize it. Maybe the first step is to get your potential partners to get their STD screenings and to make sure that herpes testing is included, because usually herpes isn't even tested for. It isn't really fair to disclose your condition to someone when you aren't even sure of their status.

I know it's hard to "stay positive" but it does get better with time. So many people have the virus and don't even know it. At least now you will know who is worth it and who is not. I mean, if someone really wants to be with you, they WILL!! And if they don't, then they are not worthy of you or your time, and love!!!

yes you can get hsv2 genital herpes in your mouth as a matter of fact I think I have it in my mouth, well long story short, I had long relationships in my life my last relationship was 6 years when we broke up I took an std test herpes included in the test igg and I was negative in both 1 and 2, I was single for more than 2 years and I meet this girl I started dating her going out the time came to have sex and when we were almost there she told me she had genital herpes I stopped and I told her that I needed time to think about this I wanted to keep on seen her and we keep dating well I went to my doctor and he told me that in fact people can have hsv2 in their mouth as well I had an igg test and boom I was positive and had another one positive again then I had a biokit test and it came positive I never had any symptom in my genitals and I had what I think was an outbreak inside my mouth but when I went to the doctor was too late when I told the girl I was seen she broke up with me I was panicking and she said she wasn't able to be with a weak man well now I'm single and is even harder to date there's a small change you can spread it from kissing or giving oral sex but the chance is there, there's a book that educated me a lot about herpes is called the good news about the bad news by Terri warren it worth reading it.
