This. Is. Huge. This cannot come to other countries soon enough. HSV-2 cannot be far away. FDA approved too, so the technology should be sound.

Encouraging, though the company seems shrouded in secrecy. I'm really curious as to how they'll follow the kit's efficacy of self-diagnosis. Thing is, this won't really change the numbers since I doubt the labs are required to report the positive diagnosis back to the CDC. Maybe I'm in a pessimistic mood, there's clearly more good to be had here, and it does empower people to make their sexual privacy more private. Hopefully this'll spurn more self-education on herpes.
