Fatigue, dry skin, hair indigestion, brain fog ends with OB

Hello again, it's been quite a few years since I posted on here, but I am back for more as doctors have been of no use.

Shortly after physical or emotional stress, sometimes unbeknownst to me my body feels like it goes into hibernation. I become physically uncoordinated, slow, depressed. My skin gets super dry, face gets puffy under my eyes, I look like I age 10 years. I get bloated and constipated. I drink more water. It lasts for days, weeks, even a month at a time. Then it just goes away, as if rubber band holding me back snaps and the very next day I am able to go swim, play soccer, ride a bike. Sometimes fatigue ends with an outbreak, sometimes it doesn't.

Blood tests show everything to be within reason. I've been to several doctors.

I have hsv1, hsv2. I had chickenpox as a kid and shingles as an adult. I had mono at one point.

A member on here told me to take 1g valtrex a day to make this go away. I've tried, to no avail.

Welcome back, sputnik. I get where you are coming from. Stress does some serious damage to my body too. Trying to eliminate it isn't as easy as it sounds either. Just try to stay healthy, take anxiety meds if need be, and get plenty of rest. More importantly, no matter how hard it is, exercise. It's the key to a better mind, body, and soul. Hope this helps.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
